Gas Safe Certificate For A Generator?

Hi there I'm new to the whole trailer side of the industry and just wanted to try and clarify something I can't seem to find the answer to online. (Some of the links on here lead to bad internet gateways and will not load). I've changed my original concept from a catering trailer doing food to different variations of drinks trailers however I will still need a Generator for menial power and have settled on a Greengear LPG Generator. I want to know if I need a Gas Safe Certificate for my LPG Generator as I'm assuming it is classed as Gas using Equipment. I may be entirely wrong and hope someone can shed some light on the subject for me!

To answer your question, you will need to have a Gas Safety certificate for the LPG Generator if you intend to trade legally. Event organiser, local authorities and any landowner will ask for them.
