Book a mobile catering engineer

I'm struggling to get a gas engineer to provide a gas safe certificate for lpg gas on my teardrop caravan. I've contacted at least 8 on the gas safe register. Only half replied and none of those could do it. I'm not sure why they have specified commercial lpg as one of their services. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Kirsty

Hi, sorry to hear your struggling to find a suitably qualified engineer

Go to gas safe site ( Gas safe register ) select find a engineer
It will give you the choice of Domestic or Commercial, select commercial scroll down your selected engineer at the bottom you will find a plus sign press and it will tell you what he is qualified to work on SIMPLES 👍

Hello Kirsty,

You can search the Gas Safe Register for a qualified engineer near you. Make sure they are LP1CMC qualified to work on catering equipment.

The normal domestic engineers won't be qualified to provide a test certificate and fit the equipment. Any event organiser or landlords will want to see that you the right certs, before you can trade.

If you can't find anyone near you consider booking a qualified engineer here
