Planning Permission for New Mobile Catering Business by: David
Hello Kylie,
Apply for planning permission seems to be the norm if you intend to setup another business or have a ?change of use? for the land you own, especially when setting up a different type of business.
I own a smallish hotel, with a very large carpark. I have put in place a food trailer ( which is moveable), but i am now being told i must apply for planning permision. Does this seem right? I was just told i had to register it with the council and they would come check it when its completed? It is my own land, and there are no other business' within a 500m distance. Also the van is not open yet as we have designed it ourselves and it is still being finished.
Your help would be greatly appreciated

Mobile Catering Outside Local Pub by: David
Hello Graig,
Yes you can start mobile catering and trade outside your local public house. As long as you their permission to trade and register with the local council before you start trading it?s not going to be a problem.
