Start Mobile Catering - But No Experience?

Hi just finished reading your "starting mobile catering" article and found it very interesting.

I’m looking at starting up my own small catering company, and like you have no experience on this at all!, but have found it a little easing knowing that you were in the same boat.

I was just wondering if you know of any companies that rent catering vans/trailers.

As I’d like to try this out before actually buying and also how hard do you find it getting into events like concerts etc?

For the long term I would like to own my own van and hopefully branch out owning a number of vans

Good to hear from you!

Most places don't rent out catering vans but tend to go for catering trailers instead. Since these require less maintenance and are cheaper to run compared to a catering van.

For catering trailer rentals try
Excel Trailers they seem to have a range of hire trailers to choose from.
