Unfinished Catering Trailer - Where Can It Be Fitted Out?

by Newton
(Kingston Upon Hull)

I have a twin axle 12 x 6'6" catering trailer. Its previous owner began refitting it but left it unfinished. I want to add a fryer, a gas hob and a fridge, maybe a display cabinet too and of course some shelving.

I couldn't do this by myself and have searched for local firms whom may be able to help - no luck thus far. I want to run the cooking equipment via LPG and the fridges off electric.

If anybody could point me in the direction of somebody with the experience to fit these for me I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you. Newton.

Finally found it after typing catering trailer into twitter. That is helpful, I have spoken to a joiner who thinks he could do it. It would be helpful to have a few ideas of what it should look like as well I suppose. Anyway the wheels in motion. Thanks again.

Unfinished Catering Trailer

You should start by ringing around catering trailer manufacturers, some will offer refurbishment services, others will only work on their own brand. This is peak season for trailer builders, the ones I know are all reporting they have weeks of work ahead, late summer is the best time to get work done if your budget is tight.

Or, if you prefer to project manage the work yourself - gas fitters, you can call or email gas safe and ask for details of someone qualified to work on lpg mobile catering. Electrical work can be carried out by a domestically qualified NICEIC electrician.

Hope that helps.
