Work From Home Mums ! The New Silent Work Force
Over the past 10 years more and more women have become work at home mums or also know as (WAHM) Many of these women were once fierce workers in the common work place and then were blessed with children.

Unable to work due to caring for their children many of these women have discovered ingenious ways in which they could still produce an income from the comforts of their home. In fact, 60% of all women in the United States (25% U,K) are now make a full time living from their work from home jobs. |
Every year this number rises as more and more women discover the convenience and revenue making potential that they can gain from running and operating their own business from home. Additionally, many women without children are turning to at home businesses as their sole means of income.
Can Work At Home Mums
Really Make A Living With Their Own Business?
There is no denying that work from home mums can make a substantial amount of income from home. In fact, out of the 60% of women who work from home, 34% of them are currently running businesses which support their entire way of life.
These women have gone far and beyond the call of duty and have established themselves in the work from home arena and bring in good amounts of income each year.
Many of these women now make more money than they ever made before they become work from home mums. This proves that with the right idea, hard work and passion there is an opportunity for almost every mum out there.
What Types Of Businesses Can WAHM Start?

The great part about home based businesses is that there are so many exciting home based job opportunities to take advantage of. If you can think of it, you can do it! However, some of the most popular businesses that work from home mums turn to include but are not limited to: |
Internet business, nanny services, tutoring, dry cleaning business, home baking biz, sandwich making, taking surveys, writing children's books, children's party planner, becoming a personal cook and becoming a personal shopper to name a few.
The idea is to find something that interests you and to find something that will work around your personal schedule. If you have children you will have to schedule your business and work around your care giving schedule. If you don’t have children you can be more flexible with your work from home choices.
Is It Expensive For Work From Home Mums
To Get Started?
Starting a business from your home is very affordable. In fact, many work from home mums discover that they don’t need any start up money to begin their business.
But it all really depends on the type of business that you start. For example, if you decide to become a children’s book author you will simply be spending a lot of time writing. Or if you choose to bake from home this won't cost you anything initially because you most likely have the ingredients that you need at home anyway.
Becoming a personal shopper, starting a MLM business or becoming a personal cook generally requires no start up cash other than general advertising. This can also be said of becoming a survey taker which just really requires you to sit in front of a computer answering a lot of different questions. So it makes sense to start with an idea that won’t require you to spend anything extra or very little.
How Do Work From Home Mums Get Started?
Knowledge, passion, drive and research are the keys to becoming a successful WAHM. The majority of WAHM got started in their business of choice by simply researching many different opportunities or finding a gap that needed to be filled in the market place.
This could be something that you think is needed or even a product or service that can be upgraded significantly. So it doesn’t have to be an idea from scratch, but it should offer something different, unique and useful
